How to Proxy
Primary Department Supported: Product Support
Description: How to access and use Proxy features in LMS
Super Powers Needed? -NO
Developer Support Needed? - NO
Common Situations
Product Support regularly uses Proxy of other users in LMS when:-
Internal users report being unable to perform functions in LMS that they should normally have access to.
-
Product Support needs to reproduce an issue to confirm whether an LMS error is legitimate.
Important Considerations & Best Practices
-
Always clear your proxy before performing any unrelated actions in LMS.
-
Any actions taken while proxied will be logged under the proxied user’s name, which can create audit issues or incorrect data linkage.
-
-
Individuals who are not associated with a loan should not have their name attached to loan changes or corrections.

Troubleshooting
User does not appear in the proxy list:
-
Verify the spelling of the user’s name or credentials
-
Confirm the user has active LMS access and required roles assigned
Unable to reproduce reported issues:
-
Confirm whether the user’s access differs from yours (missing roles, business roles, or permissions)
-
Attempt proxying in multiple environments if the issue is environment-specific
